The Askren Wrestling Academy will prepare members to achieve success at the highest levels of Collegiate and International wrestling and will strive to develop a life-long passion for the sport. This may mean foregoing temporary success.
Long term success will be accomplished through the development of mental toughness, persistence, a strong work-ethic and by encouraging initiative and innovation. These things will be stressed because they are the foundations for long term success in wrestling and in life.
Well rounded wrestling will be the objective of the coaching staff, which means learning every technique possible and competing with focus and intensity from whistle to whistle.
Excellence in skills, character and discipline will be forged, while providing a safe and challenging environment within a state-of-the-art facility.
